Meet the Owners

“We fell in love with AFC in 1994, and now we’re proud to own and operate this beautiful place.”

In 1994, the Lord called Gerri Lester, her husband, Jimmy, and their two daughters, Emily and Erin, to be the caretakers of AFC. For four years, they lived and worked at the camp. Emily even met her husband, Josh, while his youth group was attending the camp.

Fast forward 30 years, AFC became available to purchase. And once again, the Lord opened doors to, not only be the caretakers, but to also be the owners!

Gerri, along with Josh, Emily, and their seven children are happy to be back at AFC, and are ready to restore it back to its former glory.
